When to Size Up (Rather Than Guess Small)
Undersizing is the more common mistake we see — a container that fills up mid-project means either an awkward second haul or paying overage on a container that was never really the right fit. If your project is genuinely on the border between two sizes, sizing up by one tier usually costs less in the long run than ordering the smaller one and needing a second container.
When the Smaller Size Actually Makes Sense
Tight driveways, lake-road properties, and mountain-town gravel access all favor a smaller container that's easier to place — sometimes a 10-yard is the right call specifically because of where it needs to sit, not just how much it needs to hold.
